Let me tell you what you can't find there.
I have a verified profile on LinkedIn from two different sources. I didn't pay for the verification, unlike some social media sites do (X marks the spot).
I served at a Catholic mission school in Liberia, West Africa, as a Peace Corps math teacher, near a Firestone rubber plantation.
I'm retired now and busy as ever. I don't claim to be an expert in AI or other matters. I know a little bit about many things. I recommend folks query three human experts and three AI models on a topic. If you are still confused, perhaps I can help.
As far as AI is concerned, I understand its underlying foundations, as I was a former math major, software engineer, and Six Sigma statistical black belt at Motorola. I also took online courses at IBM, Microsoft, and Databricks to get up to speed.
I used to be an academic bum at the College of DuPage, a while back. I took courses in creative writing, literature, philosophy, programming, and foreign language, for the fun of it.
I spent time with Native American medicine people and experienced their ceremonies, hung out with Eastern saints and sages, and spent time with professional homeopaths. While I'm an Eastern Catholic, I prefer the Byzantine (AKA Eastern Orthodox) rite, but I live closer to Eastern Syriac (AKA Syro-Malabar) and Maronite rite churches. But I have also visited Assyrian East, Eastern and Oriental Orthodox, and Protestant churches, as well as the Theosophical Society in America, Hindu, Buddhist, Jain, and Sikh temples, and Islamic Mosques. I like silent contemplation methods, with an emphasis on the methodology rather than the metaphysics, particularly the traditions of Heartfulness, Mindfulness, and the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends.
I like these theological and philosophical ideas:
- Hopeful Universalism
- Eastern Orthodox view of heaven and hell
- N.T. Wright's view of heaven and hell
- Fox Golden Key
- Why Mindfulness Is a Superpower: An Animation
- Christian Inclusivism (What It Is and Why Christians Should Accept It)
I do occasionally write a blog on spirituality, AI, and other topics. I also have a blog of unusual superhero and ASI helper adventures. While I come up with ideas, I brainstorm with AI models such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Claude, Mistral, Grok, Meta, Deep Seek, and Qwen. My goal is to create a new adventure each month and, when AI technology matures, produce an AI-created, full-length Superhero and ASI helper movie. You can find me swimming each weekday at a local health club. I do like various world cuisines, such as Chinese, Vietnamese, Indian, Korean, Thai, Mexican, Italian, and Middle Eastern.
Politically, I'm a conservative non-partisan person. I vote for the best candidate who can do the job. I'm also a big fan of good store brands, especially from Costco, Trader Joe's, and Walmart.
I read a variety of articles, magazines, books, and comic books. I like certain Marvel characters like Spider-Man, the Hulk, Thor, and the X-Men; DC Absolute Universe superheroes like Superman, Batman, and Green Lantern; and Top Cow publications like Witchblade and The Darkness.
